OUR STRATEGY
Community-Led Well Programs
We implement sustainable well-drilling programs managed by local communities. Our approach includes training community members in well maintenance, establishing water committees, and implementing usage fees to ensure long-term sustainability. Each well is strategically placed to serve clusters of households within a reasonable walking distance.
Rainwater Harvesting Systems
We support the installation of household and community-scale rainwater harvesting systems. This includes providing materials for gutters, storage tanks, and first-flush diverters, along with training in system maintenance and water quality management. These systems help communities maintain water access during dry seasons.
Spring Protection and Development
We work to protect and develop natural springs in rural areas. This involves building spring boxes, installing pipeline systems to deliver water to central collection points, and implementing watershed protection measures to ensure sustainable flow. Each protected spring can serve hundreds of households with clean, naturally filtered water.
